For those of us who mother, the pandemic has unavoidably thrown off our routines along with our strategies to manage the precarious balance of daily lives. Whether its changes to family time, online school, or just the added mess that comes with everyone being home more often, our mothering habits (yes, habits!) are being tested so that we can grow out of our learned behaviors and embrace the authentic mother within.
The mother we enact is primarily based on how we were mothered as well as the culture we grow up in and the mother archetypes (caring, nurturing, giving) that bombard us. It impacts how we give (often too much) and receive (sometimes never), communicate our needs, and nourish ourselves and others. Resolving these overpowering influences frees the mother we longed for in our childhood and the one our kids ask for through their behaviors and actions.
Join Erica in this new online workshop to transform tension and struggle into your authentic mothering self. The workshop will start with discussion and exercises leading into a BodyTalk Session based on the priorities identified by the group.
